These are 1 hour pool sessions every Friday at Lord Byng Aquatic Centre under direct supervision of a certified freediving instructor. You’ll have access to our pool space and are free to swim around, work on skills, or test out your new gear!
Please note, these drop-in sessions are not in place of a proper training course. Freedivers who join are expected to have received at minimum the first level of certification from a recognized agency.

We will be providing transportation from Diving Sports to the pool on a first-come first-serve basis. We have a 7 passenger van and divers are welcome to get a ride or choose to meet us at Lord Byng Aquatic Centre.

How does it work?
Our Freediving Drop-In is a membership style system! When you sign up you may attend any and all of the drop-ins within the time period that you have paid for. What You Need to Do
Who are Drop-Ins for?:
Commitment to Safety and Enjoyment
At Diving Sports we believe in making sure all our divers (Scuba and Freedivers) receive the best possible experience while maintaining a high standard for safety, both for the divers, the guide, and the environment we are visiting. Our dive guides have many years of experience diving locally in cold water. All Dive guides are trained in first aid and oxygen delivery. First Aid kits and DAN Oxygen Kits are present on all trips and courses. Dive sites or dive plans may be changed due to weather conditions or experience level of the group, as well as anyone not adhering to proper dive practices will politely be asked to adapt to better interact with the underwater environment.
