Respecting the Environment and Marine Life :

Egmont is at the mouth of the Sechelt inlet. This allows for plenty of water flow and nutrient rich currents to flow in, creating the amazing dive sites we plan to visit. Among the dive sites are the famous Power Lines wall, which you can find Gorgonian Cold Water Fan Corals, and the HMCS Chaudiere shipwreck.
As with all of our guided dive trips, we are going to be enforcing proper safe dive practices both for the wildlife and for the divers.

Please note: due to possible currents and challenging diving conditions,  this dive tour is only suitable for experienced cold-water divers.

Transportation and accommodation are included :
We are sending a guide to get divers over to the Sunshine Coast and take them diving! We will be staying at the Porpoise Bay Resort in Egmont. We have 7 spots available in the van however there are up to 9 spots available so anyone who wants to provide their own transportation can receive a small discount towards the trip.

What is Included :

2 Nights accommodation at Porpoise Bay Resort in custom made Yurts

Homemade food each day

6 Boat Dives

Air fills

Tanks, weights, transportation, ferry fees

Where Are We Going?

Egmont BC is right at the mouth of the Sechelt Inlet on the Sunshine Coast. Unlike the calm waters that the Tuwanek Shore dive offers, the boat dives at Egmont have enough current from the ocean to give the dive sites incredibly rich marine life. We will be staying at Porpoise Bay Resort for 2 nights so we can have 3 days of amazing diving.

There is so much to see in the fjord of the Sechelt Inlet and Agamemnon channel. We will see thousands of feather stars, sponges, Crimson Anemones, giant pacific octopus, wolf eels, nudibranchs, and even have a chance to see the Gorgonian Fan corals at the Powerlines Dive site!

Protecting our Wildlife:

At Diving Sports, we are passionate about diving in an environmentally responsible way. All divers will strictly be following the "look, don't touch" rule, otherwise they will be asked to exit the water and remain on the boat for the second dive.

    Commitment to Safety and Enjoyment

At Diving Sports we believe in making sure all our divers (Scuba and Freedivers) receive the best possible experience while maintaining a high standard for safety, both for the divers, the guide, and the environment we are visiting. Our dive guides have many years of experience diving locally in cold water. All Dive guides are trained in first aid and oxygen delivery. First Aid kits and DAN Oxygen Kits are present on all trips and courses. Dive sites or dive plans may be changed due to weather conditions or experience level of the group, as well as anyone not adhering to proper dive practices will politely be asked to adapt to better interact with the underwater environment.
