Planning a tropical vacation? Complete your pool and classroom training with us in Vancouver and finish your ocean dives anywhere in the world through the PADI Open Water Referral system.

The session includes 2 hours of classroom training and 2 hours in the pool, all in one day.

What are the prerequisites for the PADI Open Water Diver course?

Students must be able to swim 200 meters continuously, tread water for 10 minutes, and complete a PADI medical waiver.

Is all rental gear included in the Open Water course?

All gear is provided except for your personal mask and snorkel, which must be brought or purchased separately.

Is transportation provided for pool and ocean sessions?

Yes, transportation from the shop to both the pool and the ocean dive sites is included.

What is the schedule for the full PADI Open Water course?

The course includes 4 hours of classroom instruction, a full weekend of pool sessions (Saturday & Sunday, 4 hours each), and another weekend of ocean dives from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

What does the PADI Open Water Referral course include?

It includes eLearning, 4 hours of classroom time, and 8 hours of pool training split over a weekend. Ocean dives are completed at another PADI center of your choice.

Are there prerequisites for the referral course?

Yes. The same as the full course: swim 200 meters, tread water for 10 minutes, and sign the medical waiver.

Is rental gear and transportation included in the referral course?

All rental gear is included except for your personal mask and snorkel. Transportation to the pool is provided.
