Emergency Oxygen Provider:
During the EFR class we will go over basic emergency oxygen administration. If you would like to learn more, ask us about how to get your Emergency Oxygen Provider added on to your EFR or Rescue Course!
EFR as a Refresher :
Even if you have taken Emergency First Response courses in the past, everyone needs a refresher every now and then. In order to stay current you need to take the course once every two years. You may sign up for any of our EFR courses to refresh your skills and knowledge.
Who is this course for:
The Emergency First Response course (EFR) is for anyone who wants to learn basic life saving skills and accident management. Although it is designed with scuba divers in mind, anyone can take this course to be confident in helping someone in need either at a dive site or in everyday life. The EFR or equivalent certification is the first step towards the Rescue Diver course, and also serves as a refresher course for others (even non-divers) who have completed a first aid course some time ago.
What You Will Learn:
You will receive an eLearning code to review the knowledge development section on your own, including the final exam. We will then spend an evening in the classroom getting hands on practice providing CPR to a mannequin, accident scene analysis, bandaging, spinal injury management and more.

Commitment to Safety and Enjoyment
At Diving Sports we believe in making sure all our students receive the highest quality instruction and customer service. We are in the business of training, mentoring, and supporting students to become safe, skillful and confident divers. We begin by scheduling our courses with the number of classes it typically takes most students to master the knowledge and skills, then adapt and tailor our schedule to fit our individual student’s needs. Our instructors are open and honest about your progress during each part of the course. Students may need to schedule additional pool or ocean training dives prior to certification. This ensures our students complete their courses with all the skills and knowledge they need to be safe and enjoy their future dives and courses. When you take a course with Diving Sports, you are welcomed into a passionate and inclusive community of divers eager to support your diving journey well beyond the duration of your class.
